My Background

Hello! First off I want to thank you for taking a minute to read about my background. I will never forget the day I picked up my first hammer. It was on a snowy, Christmas day, when I was 6 years old. I unknowingly unwrapped my Christmas present from my sister, to reveal a brand new Craftsman hammer, as a kid, I was astonished! I built my first home that summer, a beautiful tree fort. That is when I fell in love using tools. Fast forwarding a few years until 1998, at the age of 16, I landed my first construction job, working as finish carpenter. Having an eye for detail, I knew only after a couple days of work, construction is what I wanted to do. Managing a company is also something I wanted to do so in the summer of 2001, at the age of 19, I started Fusion Finishing. I found myself adventuring on to other projects such as; decks, framing, painting, drywall, tile and other trades so in 2008 I went to school to study construction and got my contractor license and have been making homeowners dreams come true, and to this day, I still have that hammer!
